A new year at camp
There will be open registration for the Roselle Park Summer Camp on March 18 and May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roselle Park High School, 185 West Webster Ave., Roselle Park.
According to Sam Appello, the camp’s director, the 2010 Roselle Park Summer Camp will once again be offering a wide variety of programs for preschool and kindergarten through eighth grade students. Camp will run from June 29 through Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. A 7:30 a.m. drop off is available.
Parents and guardians will have a choice of registering their children for three to five days a week and for full or half-day schedules. Activities will include computer instruction, musical theatre, dance, sports activities, games, science labs, arts and crafts, drawing, painting, newspaper production, baton twirling, colorguard, cheerleading and more. Swim lessons are available from June 28 through Aug. 9. A six-week reading and writing program will be offered three days a week from July 6 to Aug. 9.
